Asad Ullah Bhullar
Asad Ullah Bhullar is a distinguished Europe-based Pakistani journalist and analyst, proficient in five Asian and European languages. His work spans various media platforms in both Asia and Europe, covering South Asian, European, and international issues. He is particularly known for his columns titled “OVERSEAS POST,” featured in prominent Urdu newspapers such as Daily Nawa-e-Waqt, Daily Khabrain, Daily Ausaf, Daily Nai Baat, Daily Insaaf, and the Jung Group’s publications, including Daily Waqt, Daily Jahan-e-Pakistan, Daily Post Mortem, and Daily Bulekha, the largest Punjabi newspaper in Punjab.
Asad Ullah Bhullar has also contributed significantly to Polish media, appearing on national TV channels and radio programs, where he discusses current affairs related to Pakistan and Asia. Notable programs he has participated in include “Question on Breakfast,” “Poland Nonstop,” and “An Evening in the Garden.” He is recognized for his insightful analysis in Polish, enhancing the understanding of South Asian issues in Europe.
He has authored two influential books. His first book, “ELECTION 2002,” published in 2003, provides a critical analysis of Pakistan’s electoral system and the impact of decisions made by dictators on the country’s democracy, highlighting the suffering of the Pakistani nation. His second book, “EUROPE KAHANI,” published in 2009, explores the cultural differences between European and Asian societies and addresses the challenges faced by Pakistani youth migrating to Europe. This book details the difficulties of illegal travel, the history of migrants, and the humanitarian aspects of European societies.
As a dedicated social activist, Asad Ullah Bhullar has worked tirelessly to bridge the cultural gap between Pakistan and Europe, especially during the height of terrorism in Pakistan. From 2009 to 2012, he represented the Pakistani community in Poland, working diligently to address the issues faced by Overseas Pakistanis. He organized numerous cultural events to promote Pakistani traditions and engage Polish society, conducted conferences and workshops to enhance the positive image of Pakistan, and fostered cultural friendships between Pakistan and Poland. Through his articles and features, Bhullar has portrayed European culture and humanity to the Pakistani audience, significantly contributing to a better mutual understanding between the two societies.
